• Massive Ground Clearance: Standard suspension lift kits only raise a vehicle's body and frame, leaving the lowest points—the differential pumpkin and axle tubes—vulnerable to rocks. Portals physically lift the entire axle assembly, instantly providing 4.5 inches of extra clearance directly under the center of the vehicle.

• Hub Gear Reduction: Portal boxes contain a set of reduction gears (often around a 20% to 22% reduction ratio). This mechanical advantage multiplies torque directly at the wheel, allowing vehicles to effortlessly turn oversized tires without needing to re-gear the central differentials.
