Lifting a vehicle changes the position of its wheels and suspension arms relative to the body. On an independent front suspension, that can affect caster and camber angles. If the alignment moves outside the available factory adjustment range, it may influence steering feel, straight-line stability, and tire wear.
HPR offers separate adjustable front upper control arm products for Porsche Cayenne 955 and 957 applications. The product pages describe the arms as a way to help restore alignment adjustment range on lifted vehicles. They provide reference geometry changes for an approximately 2-inch lift, but actual alignment results vary with the vehicle, installation, and condition of its other suspension parts.
Before installing replacement control arms, inspect the existing ball joints, bushings, and alignment hardware for wear or corrosion. After installation, have the vehicle aligned using measured specifications. A control arm is not a substitute for alignment.
On the road, watch for changes in steering return, unusual noises, or uneven tire wear. If anything feels or sounds wrong, have the suspension and alignment checked promptly.
